What can the Osterburg 2.0 app do?

With the app you can set up impressive 3D stations at certain points in the castle
experience. For example, use augmented reality to project animated people, such as the last tower keeper, into your real environment and listen to the exciting ones via audio guide
Tell the events of the last 800 years in the castle. The tour through the castle complex is surrounded by fantastic background noise. This makes an impressive journey into the past possible and you get to know Weida from a completely different side.

The knowledge path on the Osterburg in Weida is intended as a discovery tour for the whole family
be used. As a visitor, you will be guided through the exciting stations by the sympathetic mascot Türmi. So far, the unique project consists of 16 stations.

The app can only be used at the designated locations on the Osterburg. Use at any other location than on the castle grounds is not intended.

Two mixed reality stations will be available for the opening in October.

More will follow in the near future and expand the digital knowledge path. A 360 ° view of the ice age stone of the castle complex is also planned, as well as the implementation of a quiz function for a digital snippet hunt across the castle grounds.
