GreenQube is a platform for the farm value chain ecosystem to monitor and manage agriculture related issues, transactions and farmer decision support with a digital backbone.

GreenQube is an Android based mobile application for farmers, part of the Farm value chain ERP platform offered by InQube Innoventures Limited, UK. It is a decision support system for providing complete handholding information to farmers during all the phases of crop life cycle. There are modules like advisory on crop production, scientific farming practices, fertilizer and pesticide calculation, weather advisory, soil management and market information. GreenQube encompasses agro-tech features with an intent to fill the gap between farmers, farm related enterprises and accurate strategic information of agriculture expert. Hence enabling farmers to get efficient solution within no time.

We have included all the features here ensuring a win-win situation of farm sector enterprises and the farmers attached to them.

Features of GreenQube

1. Agent Registration: In this module, agents and extension workers can register themselves as a user. The agents would monitor the farmer’s activity as and when required. There are some basic features in the app where the agents have the access to operate on behalf of the farmer.
2. Farmer Registration: In this module farmers can register themselves as a user.
3. Land Detail: In this module the farmer can register their plot with basic details as in, soil type, terrain type and size of the plot. On registration, the latitude and the longitude of the farmer would be captured.
4. Crop Detail: In this module the farmer would capture the crop detail of the registered plots. Crop detail as in, cultivating season of the crop, crop type, crop name and variety, production pattern used etc.
5. Q&A: In this module the farmer would raise a crop problem with all its symptoms from the application. Immediately after the problem is raised an agro expert will be notified. The agro expert would be able to answer each queries within no time. The farmer would be able to see the solution in his application. Farmers can also report their daily activities through this module.
6. Scientific Farming: Complete information of crops right from sowing till harvesting. Scientific farming encompasses all the information on crop profile, method of cultivation, land preparation, seed treatment, integrated nutrient management, integrated pest management, irrigation practise, harvest management etc.
7. Agri Calculator: This module would display 2 calculators - a. Fertilizer Calculator- the amount of Fertilizer required for each crop in kg/ha is calculated and displayed and b. Pesticide calculator - the information of pesticide required by the crop all through out for different diseases will be calculated.
8. Weather Advisory: complete information on weather forecast would help the farmer to plan his activities.
9. Soil Management: In this module the farmer would generate request on soil sample test. On uploading the test report the farmer would be able to see the result in his application
10. Market information: This is the module where the farmer would be able to view the crop price from trust worthy source in different location. This would benefit the farmers with better investment and return. This would help the farmers from getting exploited by intermediaries
11. General information: This is just like notice bulletin. Any kind of agricultural information posted by the agriculture experts would be displayed in this module.
