You have to search for a five letter word. You get 6 chances for it. A password allows you to search through the game.

For example, suppose the word given to you by the game is 'apple'. Here you can see four letters. Those letters are A, P, L, E. If you type one of these four letters in any box, it will be displayed in yellow. If you type those letters in the correct places, it will show in green. When you type letters that are not relevant to the password, they are displayed in gray.
