Ubidrop – Android to Mac for PC

Ubidrop is the simplest way to transfer photos, music and any kind of files from Android to Mac.

No need for cables, uploading your files to the cloud, or sending files to yourself over email or messaging apps like Whatsapp or Telegram.

Ubidrop transfers your files over your local WiFi network. The files stay secure and you are the only one who can access them.

How does it work?

Files are transferred over your local WiFi network and no personal data is shared via a 3rd party or online. This means that your Mac and your Android need to be on the same WiFI to work.

Check if your devices are connected to the same WiFi by comparing the emojis displayed on both the Android and Mac apps.

What files can I send?

You can send any kind of files, no matter the type.

How fast does it work?

Currently, it shares photos and videos taken from your phone's camera in a couple of seconds.

How can I transfer files from my Mac to my Android?

In your Mac, click on the Ubidrop icon in the System Tray and then click Send to Nearby

Does it only work when the applications is open?

The Mac app is a tiny app that sits in the background and lives in your system tray. It does need to be running for your Mac to accept files, but it will not appear in your dock or get in your way.

Where are incoming files stored?

Your files will automatically be stored in your Android's Downloads folder.

On your Mac, the files are stored on your Desktop. You can change this location by tapping on the icon of your system tray and then click 'Save files to...'.
