The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. In art, work is traditionally separated by short breaks, 25 minutes long. A timer is used for this. Each interval is expressed as a pomodoro, from the Italian word for 'tomato', after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo used when he was a college student.
