eSailing Cup for PC

eSailingCup lets you experience the thrill of a real regatta, maneuvering with the sail and the rudder: you can challenge a friend, who participates at the same time, respecting the normal rules of sailing regattas.

First of all
First you need to download the app and install it, choosing your nickname. At this point you will be in the list of members and you will be able to challenge any other player present and participate in the trophies that are organized and proposed in the relevant section.

Maneuvering the boat
Before challenging an opponent, it is best to familiarize yourself with the game. Under Training you can try to do the race course by yourself, so you learn to manage the sensitivity of the rudder and the mainsail sheet: you will have to maneuver the rudder and the sails according to the wind and arrive at the finish line within 5 minutes. The indication of your speed will help you understand how to best adjust the sails and choose the direction of your boat according to the angle with the wind. All the tests are traced in a box so that you can follow your own path, to see where the buoys to reach are, and above all to know the opponent's position when he is not present in the visual field. Wind conditions, intensity and direction, may vary during the tests. These conditions are the same for both players, even if they take their test not at the same time.

Challenge
When the green circle appears next to a player's name, it means he is present and can be challenged; on the right of the name you will also find a box for chatting with opponents. You can also challenge him and, if he is not present at the moment but then decides to accept your challenge, you can choose to carry out your first test alone; he will have to do the same, but he will have your ghost that will accompany him in the challenge, and will therefore have the feeling of racing with an opponent in real time. The rules of precedence apply: who has the walls to starboard and who, all things being equal, is downwind, has priority. Who does not respect them will be forced to the penalty, 10 seconds of waiting before starting again. The precedences are valid only when competing at the same time. Each regatta consists of 3 races; for each test you have 5 minutes to finish the course. Whoever wins two races wins the regatta.
Condition of sails and hull

Remember that eSailingCup is a regatta simulator that re-proposes the behavior of the boat as it happens in reality: not only the speed and gaits as a function of the wind, but also the conditions of its parts, i.e. the wear of the sails according to the tests carried out. and the necessary cleaning of the hull after a certain period of time. To maintain 100% efficiency you must change the sails and clean the hull when you exceed the deadline. To do this you must have the necessary points.

The points
If you win the regatta you earn 3 points. With the points, in addition to replacing the sails and cleaning the hull, you can decide to improve the characteristics of your boat: you can mount the carbon sails or replace the hull with a lighter one, or you can buy sunglasses that allow you to know where the mark is when it exits the screen. You can get points not only by winning the regattas, but also by answering the quiz (they are the ones for the boat license) where you have to answer 5 questions well to get a point. Finally, you can also choose to buy them, if for example you need them to participate in some trophies. In your profile you will always find the conditions of your boat and the amount of points available.
