WargamUs for PC

Hello everyone !

It is with great pleasure that I share with you WargamUs, a social network for miniature painters and players, but not only!

Ever since I started miniatures, it has always been difficult (at least for me) to find players around me, who play the same games and who are as interested in the painting aspect as I am.

Similarly, finding associations is not easy, although this trend has changed a bit since the advent of Youtube hobby channels.
Moreover, I have a lot of trouble keeping myself informed of hobby events that exist in France, especially painting competitions, which have more difficulty getting known than tournaments.

It is for all these reasons that I had the idea of ​​developing a mobile application which would aim to be the social network for wargamers in the broad sense (players and miniature painters): WargamUs.

Fill out your profile by indicating your paint and game preferences, specifying your favorite games and your location (approximate, not exact address).

You can then find players, associations and hobby events around you, indicating criteria such as maximum distance, games played, age, etc...

If this application does not currently represent a serious alternative to Instagram, you can still post photos, like and comment on the photos of the people you follow!

In the Calendar tab, you can offer game sessions to your friends, or to other members of the associations you have joined. Only your friends can see the sessions you offer and similarly, only members of the clubs in question can see your club sessions.

As a club manager, you can Create an association at the top right in the settings, subject to validation by an administrator.
Once validated, you can share photos of your sessions, and create events, such as game tournaments or painting contests! Those interested can then contact you.

Members of your association are notified of the creation of a new event, while others may indicate that they are interested in adding your event to their Calendar.

Of course, it is possible to contact players and clubs directly from the application, via instant messaging. You also receive different types of notifications depending on user actions (like, comment, follow, friend request, session, etc...).

I would like to point out that this application is only a draft for the moment: there will certainly be bugs that I have not seen, or unanticipated problems. I still have lots of ideas to improve this application, but for that I need you!
