Prohz is a subscription-based web and phone app that helps member contractors, subcontractors, and homeowners make connections to get more work done faster, easier, and smarter. It is a database, sorted by zip code and subject category, to connect local workers with work that homeowners want done. Prohz was created for contractors, by contractors. Prohz has a 3-step process - 1) Select your zip code 2) Select your subject category 3) Select your contractor. On Prohz, workers post their availability with a simple 3 color code system - A) Green (available in 1-4 weeks - B) Yellow (available in 5-16 weeks) - C) Red (available in 17-52 weeks) Members make connections in real time to hire and get hired. Prohz has 2 main functions - 1) Help members make connections to get work done faster 2) Provide sponsor benefits to members that exceeds the cost of membership. Other functions are to help members have a better remodeling or building experience, track their use of local contractors, rate their experiences, and stay organized. On Prohz, all leads are free to the members, unlike most other contractor search sites. Prohz provides tools for the members to use to sort their searches, code their experiences, and keep abreast of the availability of their local contractors and subcontractors. Prohz recognizes that there are many sizes of remodeling companies, and thus offers 4 levels of membership for contractors (3 standard and 1 custom - all with web app and phone app) and 2 levels of membership for homeowners (web app only or web and phone app). Prohz is very simple and easy to use, yet quickly gets the information into the hands of members to get work done. Prohz offers 90-day and 365-day memberships. All members receive a permanent member ID number that can be activated or deactivated at any time. Prohz is designed to help contractors grow or stabilize their businesses locally, spend less time looking for work or subcontractors, and to find help when they need it. Prohz anticipates making on-going improvements to the member experience with sponsor programs, discounts at local companies, and other benefits that get developed over time.
