- Notifications are logged/captured as they appear on the status bar. If a notification is not triggered — for example, receiving a WhatsApp message while the WhatsApp app is open — it will not be shown in the history log.
- Silent and ongoing notifications, such as download progress, are not logged.
- The notification category is assigned by the application that sends the notification. For instance, if you don't see a specific email in the history log when the email category filter is applied, it indicates that the sending application did not set the category as expected.
- Not all applications make media available in the notifications that they send. In those cases, media cannot be captured.
- If possible, in the device settings, disable any battery optimizations for Notifications Logger to ensure it can run in the background uninterrupted.
