Since 1965 Coferasta has been marketing the product based on the systems of descending and ascending rods applied to fruit batches.
Our ever-growing business has led us to be the largest and most important national auction to date. The main feature of the Auction system is the rapidity of time between fruit harvesting, assignment and delivery.

Coferasta means: 100% Italian fruit, high quality and fresh from the day. It is possible for us to achieve this goal, because we are structured to optimize the times set by the productive-distribution "clock". Just like the one we wear on our wrist is made up of 24 hours: time required for the fruit to be collected, withdrawn from the fields, tapped at the Auctions and delivered to its destination. A guarantee for our customers and consumers.

Coferasta is located in San Martino di Ferrara, just outside the city and covers an area of ​​90,000 square meters, of which 30,000 are covered.
The farms that give their fruit are over 900 and every year Coferasta sells about 45,000 tons purchased by about 400 buyers including Italian and European supermarkets, distributors and specialized fruit and vegetable shops.

Coferasta also collects and sells second quality products destined for the major Italian and European processing industries.
