Ibrahim Al-Akhdar:
Sheikh Ibrahim bin Al-Akhdar Al-Qayyim is a Quran reader and a Saudi imam. He was born in Medina in 1364 AH. He grew up there and received his education in its schools, where he studied at Dar Al-Hadith School, then Al-Najah School, the Scientific Institute, and then the Industrial Secondary School.
He memorized the Noble Qur’an at the hands of Professor Omar Al-Haidari, and he recited it to the sheikh of readers in the Prophet’s Mosque / Sheikh Hassan bin Ibrahim Al-Sha’er according to the narration of Hafs, then he recited to him the seven readings
The sheikhs who read and studied at their hands: and he read and was a student of a number of sheikhs, including: Sheikh Amer bin Al-Sayed Othman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al-Zayat, and he also studied under Sheikh Abdul Fattah Al-Qadi and read him the ten readings, and he studied in doctrine, jurisprudence and language on Sheikh Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al-Ghunaiman.

He practiced many jobs and tasks, as he began his working life as a teacher in industrial education, as a teacher at the Ubay bin Kaab School for the memorization of the Noble Qur’an in Medina, then as an imam at the Grand Mosque.
After that, he was appointed at the rank of assistant professor in the College of the Holy Qur’an and the College of Da`wah at the Islamic University of Madinah, and he studied at the Scientific Institute for Islamic Da`wah affiliated to Imam University.
Since 1406 AH and for a period of nine years, he participated in the imamate in the Noble Prophet's Mosque, and many students inside and outside the Kingdom learned from him in the readings.
Among his most prominent efforts in the service of the Book of God Almighty is that he and a group of sheikhs suggested to Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz the establishment of the College of the Qur’an and the teaching of readings in it at the Islamic University of Madinah, and that was the blessed college.
He has great activity in the field of memorizing the Noble Qur’an and social services. He is a member of a number of committees and associations, including:
Quran memorization group.
Charitable Society for Social Services.
The local and international jury for the Holy Qur’an competition held by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.
He also has a media, literary and cultural activity, as he participated in a number of radio and television episodes, and gave many lectures in various scientific forums, as well as Quranic recordings and cassette tapes in most libraries of the Islamic world.
