يغفر الله -تعالى- لعباده جميع الذنوب مهما عَظُمت، والدليل على ذلك قول الله -تعالى-: (وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّـهِ إِلَـهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّـهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا * يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا * إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُولَـئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّـهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ وَكَانَ اللَّـهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا)، والآيات السابقة تدلّ دلالةً واضحةً على أنّ الله -تعالى- يغفر الذنوب جميعاً، ويُبَدِّل السيئات حسناتٍ، ولو اقترف العبد عدداً من الكبائر تنفعه توبةً عامةً مكتملة The conditions for all of them without the competence of each sin with repentance separately, and true repentance is known by a number of signs.
Sincere repentance obliges previous sins and sins and erases them. When it was reported on the authority of Ibn Masoud - may God be pleased with him - that the Prophet - upon him be blessings and peace - said: (Islam necessitates what came before it, and repentance necessitates what came before it); That is, sincere repentance expiates what the repentant has committed of sins and transgressions, and other reasons for the arrangement of bad deeds, and the condition of the believer after repentance may be better than his condition before it. Because God Almighty meets his sincere repentance with atonement and forgiveness. If he breaks down in the hands of his Lord, and shows his lack of it, then commits to good deeds and perseveres in it, God rewards him by changing his bad deeds into good deeds, and that is the greatest thing that the servant can attain. He said -Almighty: (Except for those who repent, believe and do a good deed, then those are replaced by God. Sincere repentance overrides the sins and transgressions that preceded it, and is achieved when the sinner hates his sin as he once loved him, along with asking for forgiveness when he remembers it.
