Finally, an emergency management app that aggregates all of the data and real-time monitors that are relevant to emergency managers. The DC Brief provides situational awareness at anytime with up-to-date images, maps, and sensor data from across the spectrum of available data.
The news page is specifically curated to be relevant to emergency managers and disaster planners at a quick glance. News snippets open within the app for ease of use and ads are minimized as much as possible and even removable through upgrading.
The Sitrep page is a first-of-its-kind location-based service that is designed to give disaster and emergency responders a “forward report” on a given area. The Sitrep provides emergency managers and disaster responders with the specific information that is relevant to them and relevant to any mission they might encounter. The Sitrep is organized using the FEMA lifelines for ease of use and immediate recognizability.
Included in the app is a host of additional resources, links, and guides including sections of the groundbreaking book Mission Support for paid upgraders. These sections include position job aides for all of the ICS functions as well as disaster-specific need-to-know guides for emergency managers.
