Solradioen for PC

Solradioen has been an important part of the radio culture in Halden and Østfold, ever since the first broadcast on 19 December 1984. Back then, it was Steinar Aabø, who was Norway's first editor in a local radio station, who started up Solradioen. Over the years, the radio became one of Norway's most talked about and popular local radio stations, before P4 came on the scene. Solradioen was known for its close relationship with its listeners and for reflecting the local population's interests and commitment.

After many years without broadcasts, Solradioen is back! In 2024, we started with new test broadcasts on online radio, and now we are ready to get back on the air in full. We have our studio in Halden, and in February 2025 we will be on air both online and on DAB in Østfold.

Solradioen must be a radio for everyone - with program content that reflects the diversity of our county. We will offer a varied program offer with everything from local news and sports, to exciting programs that you can also watch on TV Østfold, Rally NM, self-produced programs and, not least, lots of good music!
