On September 11, 2013, the search for new radio air began in the alternative media that reached the community, belonging to IESVU 9-015 of La Consulta, being a Socio-Educational Radio, with the objective of being an open space for all those who would like to venture into learning communication. At first, it was customary to listen to the range of commercial radio stations found in the area, this meant a challenge: to be a medium with the intention of producing real content for the audience, and with the purpose of pluralizing voices. In this sense, the path and projection in the community began to expand. It was echoed in the spaces for fans of the radio world, or those who discovered it as a pedagogical tool. They are spaces to communicate what is needed freely and without pressure. In addition, being accompanied by a team that guides, training to provide quality service. When the first five years of life arrived, there were already several programs that had been on FM Vínculos: some productions were practical for the IESVU degree, others from neighboring institutions that chose the space, but many others of general interest, with intentions of offer unconventional communication. In those years, the work of IES students, teachers and social entities that bet and created authentic productions that were not seen in other media was reflected. The impact of 89.7 is such in the community that in 2016 it was ranked fourth in the Top Of Mind of the regional audience, information obtained based on data that provided a diagnosis of the current situation of the radio, carried out by students. of the Social Communication career of IES 9-015. Reaching 10 years of life, and looking back over time, the number of radio productions multiplied, as well as references from the Department that passed through the facilities. The social role in San Carlos can be seen with the naked eye, since the doors of the station are open to the community, being disseminators of content free of editorial lines. It is a space with a management team trained to guide productions and radio proposals, valuing the learning space and maintaining the strength of being a competitive medium. A few years ago, FM Vínculos expanded its reach to provide its content massively, which is why it can be found on multiple platforms, such as: Spotify, Amazon Music, Google Podcast, Apple Podcast, among others. In 2023, a new space was created to share pedagogical reference material in podcast format, so that teachers and students of different educational levels can access it to work in the classrooms, along with a new tool: Vínculos Academia on Spotify emerges. FM Vínculos 89.7 is a communication medium with the same competitiveness as a commercial radio, it has quality content of general interest, in addition to offering continuous and updated programming.
