Shree Ajit Shanti Stotra - श्र for PC

શ્રી અજીતનાથ ભગવાન તથા શ્રી શાંતિનાથ ભગવાનની આ સ્તોત્રમાં છંદો દ્વારા સ્તવના કરવામાં આવી છે.

શ્રી નંદિષેણ સૂરિજી મહારાજાએ આ સ્તવનની રચના કરી છે .

એમ કહેવાય છે કે શ્રી શત્રુંજય તીર્થ ઉપર નવટૂંકમાં શ્રી અજિતનાથ તથા શ્રી શાંતિનાથ ભગવાનના દેરાસર સામ સામે હતા.

શ્રી નંદિષેણ સૂરિજી મહારાજાને ભગવાનનાં દર્શન કરતાં પૂંઠ પડે એમાં ઔચિત્ય ન લાગતા આ સ્તવનની રચના જ્યારે કરી ત્યારે બંને દેરાસર એકબીજાની આજુબાજુમાં આવી ગયા.

પાક્ષિક, ચૌમાસી , સંવત્સરી પ્રતિક્રમણમાં સ્તવન તરીકે આ સ્તોત્ર બોલાય છે અને પ્રાતઃ સ્મરણીય નવસ્મરણમાં છટ્ઠુ સ્મરણ તરીકે પણ આ સ્તોત્ર બોલાય છે.
