The Bodymedic Massage Method is a clinical approach to massage therapy that focuses on specific soft tissue including muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves.
We do this by using specific massage techniques that have been proven to address pain, limited range of motion, nerve entrapments, adhesions and trigger points. Many times these techniques fill an entire session unlike a full-body massage.

Applied correctly, these methods result in specific benefits to a patient in crisis. Typically, it only takes one to three sessions before seeing marked improvement. Once the patient is out of crisis, more general techniques are deployed to maintain length and performance pliability within the body to prevent repeat conditions and injuries.
1. We assess where a patient is both physiologically and anatomically before we begin sessions.
2. We are doing palpitation assessment while manually treating the body.
3. We treat functional movement groups which casts a wide net because many times, the pain is not where the problem is.
4. We look for clues in the antagonist and synergistic muscles for a movement.
5. We document what we have done and what we observe during a session so that each treatment progresses for overall health of the patient.
6. We instruct patients with homework to enhance our work and the healing process.
