The “Studienbibel Deutsch” app can be operated with an Android mobile phone or tablet and can be read and listened to.

The app also contains the Luther Bible from 1912 and is a study Bible in which the Bible texts are explained and commented on by the theologian Carl Heinrich Riegers.

It's a free app that can also be used offline. A special feature is that you can have the scriptures read to you and regulate the volume and speed.

Each chapter of the Bible has subtitles to make it easier to read or hear the Bible. Also all verses are linked that have the same topic. After reading part of the Bible, there is an option to bookmark and save verses.

While reading a piece of the Bible, you can take notes on the verse or share the written thoughts on social networks and send them by email or text message.

If you have problems with your eyes, it is possible to change the font size. As a visual highlight, the app can be switched to day and night mode. Everyone will find their own highlights in the Bible, which are individually different, so the app offers the option of creating a list of favorite verses, which are sorted by date.

It can happen that you are looking for the exact wording of a verse but have forgotten where the verse is written. There is the possibility to find verses using keywords.

There is a verse notification function in the app where you can individually set when you want to receive the verse as a notification on your mobile phone.

The Bible is divided into two main parts: the Old and New Testaments.

The Old Testament consists of 39 books (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicle, 2 Chronicle, Ezra, Nehemia, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Preacher, Song of Songs, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jona, Micha, Nahum, Habakuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi)
