With the KrisenKompass app, TelefonSeelsorge wants to give children and adolescents, women and men an instrument for coping with the crisis. The aim is to provide information about suicidal thoughts, suicides and their consequences, and to provide resources and tools for coping with the situation.

For all facets of suicide, users of the APP find help for self-help girls and boys, women and men, valuable knowledge and support in acute crisis situations:

• In the red area of ​​the app there are addresses of online advice and telephone help, advice centers and self-help groups.

• In the yellow area you will find information at risk of suicide, offers of help and opportunities for self-assessment and self-observation. In the "emergency kit" you will find help on strategies for dealing with acute crises.

In a kind of "mood barometer", those affected can observe their thoughts and feelings in the areas of performance / work, relationship / contact, mind / values ​​and body / senses over a longer period of time and evaluate them in a graphic. This can be exported as a PDF and e.g. be used in therapy or counseling. The app can thus be a valuable aid for the cooperation between supporters and those affected.
