E-Souvenirs for PC

Its purpose is to help people with memory disorders using common memories from the 1930s, 1940s, ... Until the 1990s. It is also intended for seniors living in care facilities wishing to participate in an activity inspired by reminiscence.
Memories are evoked from pictures, music or movie clips, but can also include personal events that the family can insert into the application.

The E-SOUVENIRS application was developed in partnership with two speech therapists, Sophie FERRIEUX and Céline ARBIZU, speech therapists specialized in adult neurology, practicing in the hospital group Pitié Salpêtrière Charles Foix.

Why memories?
The evocation and emergence of memories can have beneficial effects from a cognitive point of view but also at the level of the well-being of the users.
E SOUVENIRS allows this stimulation of memories from different media, and reinforces positive emotions in order to establish a communication.

Thus E-SOUVENIRS creates value from the point of view of:
- The user: cognitive stimulation and well-being
-The family and caregivers: stress reduction, satisfaction from sharing activities, involvement and valorization

The E-SOUVENIRS app
Depending on its tastes and desires, the user can choose the chronological axis (by decade) or the thematic axis (by theme: childhood perfumes, cinema, music ...).
Once the category is selected, the user can choose from a large number of cards, and can also filter them to quickly find what he wants.

An accompanied application
The advantage of the E-SOUVENIRS application is that it facilitates communication by:
- The possibility to express "I like / do not like" on each sheet,
- The possibility of viewing open questions specific to each sheet, which the caregiver can read in order to promote exchange,
- The possibility of writing a legend on each sheet.

A great diversity of contents
The strength of the app is its wide range of content. Everyone is there according to his favorite areas and his appetites.

The category "frieze of life" allows the family of the user to add personal files from a web platform (family photos, childhood memories ...).
Each photo can be captioned and dated to create personal landmarks.
This creates a certain craze for the user who finds on the tablet all the photos of his childhood: his holiday home, his primary class, his wedding, etc.
To add a frieze of life? Nothing's easier ! Just create your account on the site.

The follow-up of the sessions
Each session is recorded and you can find within the application: the favorite decades, the favorite themes, but also the cards that have been the most consulted or the most loved. And this by user.
You will also be able to see the details of the sessions and the time spent on each sheet.
