This tool helps patients during the follow-up of a medical treatment to receive reminders at the exact times that they should take each of their medications with precise instructions to do it correctly (name of the medication, amount to take, instructions for taking, etc.). It also allows the patient to send urgent help requests to their caregiver and/or whatsapp contacts when they are in dangerous situations or simply want to be contacted by them. In this case, the application sends an S.O.S. with the precise location of the patient and a predefined (editable) message.

We have two modes of use:
1. As a patient who assumes his self-care
2. As a patient with a caregiver helping you schedule your medications

To use the app as a patient who assumes self-care, the user can simply download the application, enter their basic data and a password and that's it! With this you will be able to record the medications you take with details such as the frequency and the amount prescribed and that's it. From that moment and without doing anything else, you will receive reminders at the precise times and with detailed instructions to do it correctly.

If the patient has a caregiver, they can download our Bitin CAREGIVER app to register the patient, their medications and other details. The system will send a code with which the patient can authenticate from their patient app (Bitin CONTIGO) and there they can see their medications, receive taking reminders and ask their caregiver for help whenever they want. In this way, the patient will not have to record any information, just let themselves be taken care of.

This system is ideal for caregivers who, due to their daily occupations or the distance from the patient, are unable to provide adequate or sufficient care for the treatment to be optimal. It is also ideal for patients who want to improve the correct follow-up of their medical treatments.
