Amygdala Game for PC

Amygdala mobile game application is designed to improve mental resilience and coping with stressful situations by training and strengthening the prefrontal areas of the brain that participate in decision-making processes, problem-solving, and short- term memory. The game highlights situations that may challenge the limbic system, such as walking in a dark forest, along with the sound of explosions and breathing.
While walking in the virtual environment, users are required to perform cognitive tasks that require working memory. These tasks demand quick thinking and the ability to react rapidly under pressure.
In everyday life, situations such as a job interview, a date, a lecture, or an event where there is a danger to our lives may trigger the limbic (emotional) system in our brain to work at high intensity.

The combination between the performance of the tasks and the load exerted on the limbic system was created to achieve the intended goal - creating dominance of the prefrontal areas in the brain, that participate in decision- making processes, problem-solving, and short-term memory, over overstimulation of the amygdala and the limbic system (the emotional) in the brain. Thus, after persistence in the game for several weeks, we may see an improvement in the daily functioning of the user, mainly around problem-solving, functioning in pressure and stress situations, and a general sense of resilience and security.
The Amygdala mobile game application is simple and user-friendly, requiring no prior knowledge or experience. The user registers for the application, during which he is asked to choose a nickname. After registration, the system ; the user, and they will not be required to enter anything else but will be able to enter the application and immediately start playing.

Before each stage, the user will receive a short tutorial on the next stage of the game. The training will present him with the challenge, during which he will be given an example from the phase, to make sure he understands what he must do. In all
stages, the user will wander through a forest, where during the wandering he will encounter explosions and other stimuli, accompanied by visuals and sound. At each stage, he will face a different cognitive challenge, in which he will be required to use quick thinking and react quickly. Each stage lasts one minute, at the end of which the user will be able to move to the next stage (provided he has accumulated a high enough score) or play the same stage again.
The game consists of three stages, each designed to provide a different level of challenge for the user. Before each stage, the user will receive a short tutorial on the next stage of the game. The training will present them with the challenge, during which they will be given an example from the phase, to make sure they understand what they must do.
In the first stage, the user is presented with a series of green shapes that appear on the screen, and they must click on the green circles only. The challenge lies in the fact that the green circles appear randomly, and the user has to react quickly to identify and click on them. In the second stage, an auditory stimulus is added to the challenge. If a green circle appears along with the sound of a siren, the user must not click.
