Arafah was the day on which Allah (SWT) perfected His religion, completed His favors upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and approved Islam as a way of life.


When to fast on Arafah?
Day of Arafah – 9th of Dhul-Hijjah: The day before the first day of Eid Al Adha is known as the Day of Arafah. For those not performing Hajj, fasting the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah (the 10th being Eid Al-Adha) is recommended


How is Arafat Day celebrated?
This day is called prayer day, especially for people who stand on Mount Arafat. On the Day of Arafah, those who cannot make it to Mecca will go to other holy places such as mosques to recite Arafah prayer.
