Upin Ipin Calling You for PC

Upin Ipin is a pair of five-year-old twins (Upin is five minutes older than Ipin) who lived with Kak Ros and Mak Uda (nicknamed Opah) in Kampung Durian Runtuh after the death of their parents when they were babies.

Upin Ipin went to school at Tadika Mesra which is located in the village area, where they made friends with many friends who varied in behavior, such as Mei Mei who was cute and had a smart personality, Jarjit Singh who liked to make humor and make rhymes, Ehsan who was chatty and liked eaters, Fizi (Ehsan's friend) who is full of confidence but likes to make fun of her friends, and Mail, who likes selling, likes to daydream, always helps her mother sell fried chicken and is good at arithmetic. Kampung Durian Runtuh was also visited by a girl named Susanti who had moved from Jakarta, Indonesia.

Initially, Upin Ipin was broadcast specifically to welcome Ramadan in 2007 to educate children about the meaning and importance of the holy month of Ramadan. Says Safwan, "We started this four-minute animated series to test local market acceptance and gauge how the reaction would be to our storytelling capabilities."
