Mulembe FM for PC

Mulembe FM is a Luhya station targeting the Luhya community together with those interested in the Luhya lifestyle.

It broadcasts to the entire Busia, Vihiga, Bungoma, Kakamega, parts of Trans-Nzoia on 99.0FM and 99.2FM, Rift-Valley on 95.8FM and Nairobi on 97.9FM. As the first pure Luhya station, it has acquired large listenership leading to loyalty.

Western Province, which is the home of Mulembe FM, is a densely populated area hence the station reaches out to several people. The target audience includes both male and female aspiring for information for socio-economic development (pre-dominantly medium and small scale agricultural producers).

They form the mass market. They are aged between 20-45+ years and reside both in the rural and urban areas. Mulembe FM has consistent lively programs which aim at empowering the audiences.

It has set a trend in its broadcasting and this has shaped the radio consumption patterns of the listeners. The programs are clearly segmented. Through the activities carried out by the station, Mulembe FM has been known to be credible and warmly accepted by the audience.
