From the many springs of Christian spirituality that spring from the common treasure of Holy Scripture, we chose one that appeared in our path as a mountain spring: crystalline, fast, bright in the sunlight, quenching thirst and life-giving.

We have chosen him to give to others who are thirsty for God, who, like us, seek him with the love of those who keep His words in their ears: "I am the way, the truth, and the life." (John 14: 6).

This work is neither a "book" nor a "manual". It is only a means to the joy of living in Christ. A means that promotes an education, using the sensitive dimension for a good purpose, so that man responds to the thirst for love of Christ. (John 4:10)

They are in fact the songs of the Church, which through the Holy Spirit has taught us and teaches us how to glorify God, and at the same time helps us to never forget that each song expresses an inner attitude: love for God and for of the neighbor.

We consider it a sacred duty to make available to the faithful of our Church this collection of religious songs, sacredly preserved by our forerunners.

They come from the mists of history as an invaluable patrimony of Romanian spirituality, and we, today, are obliged to pass them on to future generations.

We want this precious treasure of our Christian hymnology to serve all believers who truly want to be in union with God, so that together we can bring Him the praise He deserves.
