GuessTheEnglishWord Game for PC

Initially GuessTheEnglishWord game was indented to make you remember the English meaning of an English word,
but now you can change it to suit your needs by importing files with custom content.
You will find more information in the "Configuration" section.


Gameplay:
We have a word which is hidden (only the first letter is shown) and its meaning which is not. The idea is to guess the word and remember the meaning as
the meaning is used in a bonus game which gives you more points.
On the main screen there is a "Help" button which reveals the next hidden letter of the hidden word.
When we have guessed the word two new buttons appear. One opens the word's meaning in the "dictionary.cambridge.org" webpage and the other one is used to read aloud the word.


Configuration:
1. Before starting the game you should load a Words/Meanings file if no words are present or if you want a different set of words/meanings.
You can create such file yourself by opening a text editor and adding the words then the meanings separated by ";".
Each new word/meaning entry should be on a new line. Example:

word;meaning
diff_word;diff_meaning

You can write all words and meanings you want (as long as the UTF-8 characters are used which support most languages).
Also you can replace the meanings to be the translation of the words or many different variations, play with it.
Just remember that only the word part is the hidden one and the meaning part should be in English as the bonus game uses Speech recognition in English.
Save the file as a ".txt" file in the Downloads directory of an Android device.
2. After that in the game press the Score/Config button in the initial screen. Then Allow Storage and Audio Permissions if you didn't already.
(The storage permissions are needed in order to load the text file in the game and the Mic permissions are for the speak recognition used in the bonus game)
After allowing the permissions you can find the ".txt" file using the "Browse files" button.
Click several times on the correct file to load it in the Game.
Now you can press the "Play" button and the words will appear and you can start playing.
3. From the Score/Config screen we have a setting to enable/disable the bonus game and also we can choose on how many words to guess before the bonus game appears.
Once in the Bonus game we can switch the place of the Words and the Meanings via a slide button. This multiply the variations you can use the game for,
just have in mind that the speak recognition only works with English speech.

Score:
You win 2 points for every guessed letter of the hidden word.
Lose 1 point for every wrong letter or use of the "Help" button.
The score is written on a database file and can be checked from the Score/Config screen using the "Show score" button.
After 10 score entries only the highest score will be shown and other entries deleted in order not to pollute the screen.

Bonus Game:
The Bonus game starts after guessing 5 words (default) or the configured amount from Score/Config screen.
You have to press the "Go/Pass" button in order to load your already guessed words one by one.
After loading a word you should press and hold the "speak" button and speak out after the signal what was the meaning of the word.
For every guessed word from the meaning you get 5 points.

Notice:
The score is written ONLY when you exit the game using the "Exit" button !
