Mixable backing tracks includes 100's of standard chord progressions and links to YouTube guitar lessons from leading guitarists.

See which notes to play on the animated guitar graphic which changes as the chord changes. Pick your own scale from the scale selector which shows which scales work over the playing chord.

The app includes a library of common chord progressions and popular songs across rock, funk, pop, soul and jazz which you can mix and play along with.

Mix the track - choose the backing track then set the drum pattern, the accompanying instrument, the bass and the tempo. Turn off the bass if you’re practising bass or just leave the drums if you want a beat pattern.

There are links within the app to leading musicians on YouTube to give guidance on a particular song or style. The library is constantly expanding with leading YouTube guitarists using guitarly for the backing tracks to their lessons. Submit your own lessons with a YouTube link!
