Welcome to the end-to-end secure, unified messaging app for the Bundeswehr! With BwMessenger, you can communicate professionally in the same way as you are used to from commercial apps in your private life - and use many additional convenience functions at the same time.

The modern BwMessenger is based on the open-source protocol Matrix, was designed for maximum security and is user-friendly. If you've used other messenger apps before, you'll find your way around BwMessenger right away!

Exchange information in 1:1 chat or in discussion groups and send text messages, audio and video data or documents: Each transmission is automatically encrypted end-to-end. All content is stored persistently - and encoded with your private key. What you write on your business mobile device is also stored in BwMessenger on your private smartphone. In this way, the app connects you with your team even after hours.

In addition to security, BwMessenger also focuses on COMFORT: In the chat, you can quote individual messages in a targeted manner, like content, or reward an outstanding contribution with applause. Surveys and polls are helpful for quickly reaching a joint decision, and attachments keep everyone on the same information level.

This pays off especially in ROOMS: these are discussion groups that any BwMessenger user can join either directly or upon request. Follow the topics that are relevant to you and never miss important information again. You can see which rooms are available at a glance.

With the integrated SEARCH you can find other users just as easily. To exchange information, you don't have to share your mobile number or other contact details: BwMessenger automatically searches the user directory for you.
