The Federal Association against Aircraft Noise eV, based in Mörfelden-Waldorf, pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes in the sense of the section "Tax-privileged purposes" of the tax code , in particular the protection of the population from aircraft noise and other adverse effects of air traffic. These purposes are fulfilled in particular by: -the membership in the aircraft noise commissions at German airports according to § 32b LuftVG-membership in the advisory committee according to §32a LuftVG-participation in legislative procedures and the creation of concepts on aviation-related advice for associations, Associations and municipalities in the field of combating aircraft noise public relations and holding seminars, awarding of scientific assignments that serve to avoid and reduce aircraft noise and other emissions from air traffic. The BVF is non-partisan and non-denominational. It can join national and international organizations. The association is entered in the register of associations of the Darmstadt District Court under number VR 50441.
