Prelude

Nahj al-Balaghah is a great treasury of the teachings of Islam. It is the loftiest lesson for educating and training men, the best capital for self-construction and edification, and the most effective plan for constructing a sound, clean and honored society. This precious book is an ocean of knowledge that concerns with the most important issues in all material and spiritual dimensions of man's life. Despite the fact that many rational, political and moral schools have been obliterated in the course of time, the words of Nahj al-Balaghah and its analyses and logic are so much fresh and living that it seems as if they have been uttered today by the Commander of the Faithful for the present day and for the days to come.

In the course of history of Islam, countless activities about Nahj al-Balaghah have been undertaken. This app is the mobile version of the noble book of Nahj al-Balaghah, designed and developed for Android operating system, offered online to the esteemed users. 5 editions of Nahj al-Balaghah, and translations and commentaries on it, in addition to subjects related to sentences of this book are presented in this application.

Furthermore, the users are supplied with other capabilities such as search in content, and the recitation of the original text of Nahj al-Balaghah and its translation. They can study the text, two translations and the thematic index of the app in their mobiles in offline mode.

 
Application content

Each user can make use of one of the three portals below for his studies based on his need and personal taste in order for him to enjoy the content of Nahj al-Balaghah:

List of titles: a list of the titles of Sermons, Letters and Wise Sayings of Nahj al-Balaghah with the capability of text display, and search in the titles
Translation and commentary: display of the full text of Nahj al-Balaghah, along with several Persian translations, as well as Persian and Arabic commentaries with the capability of displaying the last piece of text already studied

Interlinear translation: In addition to comparative display of all translations of Nahj al-Balaghah in all fields of text display, it has been made possible for the users to enjoy the Muhammad Dashti's interlinear translation in Persian (similar to a subtitled film).

Thematic list: A Tree List of thematic indexes of the book Farhang-e Ma'aref-e Nahj al-Balaghah (dictionary of teachings of Nahj al-Balaghah) by Muhammad Dashti in Persian and that of the book Nahj al-Balaghah (Bonyad-e Nahj al-Balaghah Edition) with the capability of linking to the sentences of Nahj al-Balaghah
