2. The Four Divisions of Water
There are 4 (four) types of water, namely:
11. Water is holy and purifies 2
22. Makruh water is musyammas water3
33. Water that is holy but does not purify, that is musta'mal4 water and water that has changed due to mixing of holy things
44. Unclean water ie
a A. water less than 2 qullah exposed to uncleanness or,
bb. the water reaches 2 qullah exposed to unclean and changed. As for the size of two qullahs, it is 500 (five hundred) kati Baghdad according to the most valid opinion.
