In this modern age, technology is developing rapidly and there are some things that were unknown in the past, then suddenly it is in this age. Just a simple example, in ancient times it would not have been imagined that people could fit into small boxes (televisions and cellphones) and be able to talk. Likewise the Quraysh people considered it very strange the story of 'Isra' Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam walking from the Haram mosque to Al-Aqsa Mosque and then back to the Haram mosque in just one night. But with today's technology, with super-fast planes, it is possible and not considered strange.

Likewise with fikh issues, many new things have emerged in this modern era both in the form of technology and human civilization. This raises new fikh problems and matters that have never been discussed by the scholars in ancient times. Likewise with the world of health, lately the world of health is growing rapidly so that there is a saying "in the next 10 years half of your medical knowledge will no longer be used".

There are several things that become the discussion of contemporary health sciences. For example regarding injections most frequently asked by patients. Of course they are afraid that their fast will be canceled or their reward will be reduced just because of an injection. Meanwhile, there are several types of injection methods and the types of materials injected vary. Likewise with the problem of blood donors, either giving blood or receiving blood. Then there are also other problems, for example using mouthwash, using an inhaler and the law of going to the dentist when fasting.

There are also contemporary health issues that raise rather big problems. For example, due to the notion that blood donation can break the fast, blood stocks at PMI or blood banks are greatly reduced during the month of Ramadan. For those who already know how difficult it is for the patient's family to find blood donors at critical times, of course they hope this doesn't happen. However, the reality is that every month of Ramadan, blood stocks at PMI and blood banks are running low. Of course this requires education and good cooperation between religious leaders and health workers.

We all know that the issue of fikh is a broad problem and cannot be separated from the disputes of the scholars. There are those who state that this opinion is different from the other opinions by a big difference, however, in compiling this book, we have tried to find and collect the opinions of scholars who are mu'tabar (responsible). Then present what they think is the stronger opinion. We also try to present light writing, not too long so that it will be burdensome for the reader and of course try to maintain its scholarship.
