The book Man La Hazratah al-Faqih is the second book of the four books of the Shiites, written by Sheikh al-Saduq (d. 381 AH), and it is a collection of narratives arranged on the chapters of jurisprudence. (The Four Hundred Principles) Its purpose was to get those who cannot reach the world jurisprudence the answers to legal issues.
This book is considered the most important and largest of the works of Sheikh Al-Saduq. In his classification, he followed the popular method in the first Islamic centuries, in which Shiite scholars and jurists were satisfied with the narrations and hadiths of the Imams (peace be upon them). In it, he collected approximately 5998 hadiths, in which he was confined to the narrations related to jurisprudential rulings
Contrary to the book al-Kafi.

The book enjoys the attention of Shiite jurists, and therefore a number of them explained and commented on it. Among the most famous of them is the explanation of the Kindergarten of the Pious of the First Majlis.

Sheikh Al-Saduq collected the narrations of the book from the origins and the books of the ancient scholars and compilers such as Hariz bin Abdullah Al-Sijistani, Ali bin Mahziar Al-Ahwazi, Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Isa, Ibn Abi Umair, Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Al-Khalid Al-Barqi, Al-Hussein bin Saeed Al-Ahwazi... and others.
