This book continued a doctoral dissertation, in which the author studied the causes of revelation that were mentioned in the nine books of hadith, and traced them in hadiths. And the nine books: Muwatta Malik, Musnad Ahmad, Sunan al-Darimi, Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawud, Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Sunan al-Nisa’i, and Sunan Ibn Majah.

The introduction deals with the importance of the topic, the reasons for its selection, the previous studies, the research plan and its methodology in preparing it. The second topic: weighting by presenting the reason corresponding to the wording of the verse over others.
The third topic: the weighting of giving preference to the author of the story over others
The fourth topic: the weighting of giving preference to the witness's statement of the reason over the absent one.
The fifth topic: Weighting in terms of the Qur’anic context.
The sixth topic: weighting in terms of historical facts.
The second section: the study of the causes of revelation, a modern interpretive study, and the order of the study is as follows:
Mention the verse or verses revealed.
Mention the reason or reasons for which the verses were revealed
The study of the cause or reasons is a modern explanatory study. It is important for the student of knowledge. The doctoral student, Jalloul Al-Jazaery, completed Asbab Al-Nazul in the rest of the Hadith books in his doctoral dissertation, but it has not yet been printed.
