Checkmate is a modern chess mobile app with friendly design, classical music in the background and the excitement of discovering the nuances of this wonderful board game. We created a new version of this royal game, innovative and full of surprises. The app offers the possibility to play online with players from all over the world (for rating points) and offline practice play with a computer (without rating points). This app was born from a fascination with chess - the game that has been moving minds and hearts of millions of players around the world for centuries!

Some say that chess was born in India, others that in Persia. In many languages it is called differently: Chess, Scacchi, शतरंज, Échecs, Xadrez, Szachy, Schach, Ajedrez, Шахматы, Satranç, チェス, 棋, الشطرنج. We have been playing this game for over 1500 years, and today it is played in almost 200 countries around the world - with new secrets still being discovered. People all over the world play millions of wars on a 64-field boards every day - you could say these are the real games of thrones.
