After you can go mining into deep mines to get valuable stones and gems, don't forget to take your troops with you, because the deeper you go dangerous it becomes, and who knows what lives under the deep grounds. If you get a chance to collect those gems you can after sell them for a good price. As your kingdom becomes known more people move into it to live and work, and you will be able to hire farmers, soldiers, build new facilities for crafting, and get new resources from them.
