In Dino Assault: FPS Rampage 3D, players find themselves in a ruined metropolis once teeming with life, now overrun by dinosaurs. Originally part of an expedition sent to investigate the sudden disappearance of the city's population, the team soon discovers that a catastrophic event has unleashed these prehistoric creatures. As chaos ensues, the expedition splinters into factions, including the Survivalist Poachers—a ruthless group led by a morally ambiguous leader.

These poachers, once tasked with securing the city, now seek to exploit the situation for personal gain.
